The Freedivers Bulldog 90cm is a customised Freedivers speargun for UK conditions. The Bulldog has a high quality 17.4 ph 6.25mm Italian made Hunt shaft with a single 16 mm rubber. Most commonly used in the oil and gas, aerospace and motorsport markets, stainless steel alloy, 17-4, offers excellent corrosion resistance, high creep rupture strength, high tensile strength and hardness.
The Freedivers small lightweight open muzzle is standard on the Bulldog. Hit us up if you prefer a closed muzzle or double rubbers and we will gladly customise the equipment to suit your preference.
Reliable and made in South Africa, with Italian spears added, Freedivers spearguns are hardy and reliable. Freedivers spearguns have a deep-grooved rail for increased accuracy, with a reliable mechanism.
The aluminium barrel has a plastic integrated rail system which reduces noise when you fire away. The rail is made from 30% glass reinforced nylon for maximum strength and durability. The tube is made from marine grade aluminium and coated with 25 micron anodising for protection against corrosion. Our equipment come standard with Freedivers DIY reusable wishbone, shark clip and synthetic rubber muzzle bungee. Reel and reel line can be added as an optional extra.

Had a great experience with James helping me out choosing the right gun for me. We decided the 90 would be best for my style and location of diving. The only thing that put me off initially was that it didn’t have a big loading butt so I thought it may be tough and uncomfortable to load… but it wasn’t at all, if anything it made the fins on the spear be closer to the chest therefor easier to load. It’s extremely accurate, caught so many fish with it so far! Made my money back worth in fish So quick and easy to reload, components feel good as new after almost 5 months… easy to manoeuvre in the water for quick reactions when shooting fish. Love the stealthy black band, barrel and handle. I recently bought a longer speargun to have as a spare to use if longer range or more power was needed, (from another brand) which was almost £100 more. And I have to say, the bulldog just feels so much more natural and stable to hold. I actually wish I’d just bought a longer bulldog! Lesson learned. Such a classic trusty gun with enough range for UK waters in my experience at least… Thanks again, James! Will definitely keep recommending this gun all the way for beginners and people on a budget. Great value! :)

I recently purchased a full Bulldog 90 fitted with a reel and all the necessary equipment in advance of a short notice spearing trip up to Scotland. The service I received from James and team was incredible, the kit was with me in 2 days, fully rigged and ready to dive. Their pricing is incomparable and their advice is worth it's weight in gold for someone who has never dived British waters! Overall the gun is a of a very high quality, providing incredible accuracy in a lightweight frame that is easy to reload with a very reliable and easy to engage safety (very important!). The Hunt spear fitted with the standard 16mm rubber gives plenty of power over its range - making long shots a breeze. Overall I am incredibly pleased with my equipment and the choice of working with Freedivers! P.S. I am sticking with the 90 for UK waters :)

I'm a Rob Allen fan boy and didn't think a gun could pull me from them. As soon as I got this gun I was super impressed. The accuracy is incredible and also super light weight. This is now my daily driver and just look forward to using every dive!!
